The Fillikid Panther Travel System is new to the UK but has excellent reviews in mainland Europe with reviewers commenting on the ease of use, quality and value.
The first thing you notice with the Panther is the lightweight yet generous sized carrycot that easily attaches to the stroller frame. The quality of the exterior and indeed interior fabrics is also very notable. The carrycot easily converts (by a patented system) to a seat unit, and it can’t be stressed how easy this is to achieve.
The large hood of the carrycot/seat offers a flip-out sun canopy, while the carrycot bar instantly becomes a bumper bar when in stroller mode.

The carrycot apron equally doubles up as a stroller apron – the Fillikids philosophy is one of simplicity but not to “cut corners” …it is all down to clever design.
In short, Fillikids has designed a travel system that is very comprehensive but easy to use. The fact that many parts are multi-functional not just saves money but means there is less to carry and potentially lose.
Moving on to the chassis, the first thing to notice is the weight – just 6.8kg. Add the wheels, and you are almost ready to go but notice the amazing suspension and the rear “ball bearing raced” wheels – a feature that is often on a stroller costing three times more than Panther.
The Fillikids Panther has swivel and lockable front wheels, puncture-proof tyres and a huge basket. Adjustable handle height comes as standard as do the easy lock brake.
When in stroller mode the seat unit is multi-adjustable and can face in either direction with the bonus that the stroller can be folded with the seat unit still in a place.
So, we have covered the pram and stroller modes, but how about the travel system mode – the car seat.
Well, it is extremely light and a good size. Well-padded and fits onto the stroller chassis with ease using the adapters that come with the stroller.
It really is that easy and all at a bargain price!
