The Joie i-Spin Safe is rearward facing only, which protects weak, undeveloped necks more than forward facing seats, the car seat absorbs crash impact when the child is rearward facing, drastically reducing risk of next injury.

The seat has a 90 degree one-hand swivel, that helps ease strain on your back when buckling your little on it and getting them out, and has Guard Surround Safety™ side impact protection panels that automatically lock outward when the harness is tightened and absorb force during a crash.
